Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel

The Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel is a well-preserved medieval castle built in 708 in a bay on the English Channel.

The island is named in the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. For example, on this island, King Arthur defeated the terrible giant - the owner of the island. According to another version, it is here, within the impregnable walls of the abbey, that the Holy Grail is hidden, but so far no one can find it.

Now the castle is home to 30 residents, some of whom are monks of the Order of St. Benedict. By chance, I managed to record the service of these monks; yesterday I made a simple but atmospheric video
